“ I was visiting from Toronto, Canada for an event and I put off visiting this place until we were ready to leave. I am kicking myself! The food here had me licking my ten fingers. I literally plan to visit just to have it again! THANK YOU to the lovely people of Jackson, Mississippi who were kind enough to allow us to skip the line. The line was out the door and we waited as long as we could before we feared missing our flight. I am truly appreciative of all of the kind people I met in the line. Food was amazing, the men serving were quick and the people were all so nice to be around! Couldn't ask for more. My fiancé (who is from MS) order the fried chicken plate 10/10. Their fried chicken is amazing! I ordered the rib plate and OMG ... these were the best ribs I've had my whole life. My gawddd. I literally licked my 10 fingers and if I used my toes to eat I wouldve licked them too lmaoo! Look forward to going back!! ”

“ Passed by often, but never stopped in till today. Goodness, I have been MISSING OUT!! These are the best ribs I have had in the state of Mississippi from a restaurant to date. Don’t let it being in the gas station stop you from stopping in. Today I arrived about 1pm. I had to wait in line behind about 10 people. Wait was about 30 minutes — but it was worth it. I was lucky enough to get some that had literally just been taken off the smoker. As far as the ribs go you get them sauced or non sauced. I personally enjoyed the sauced! The lady in line behind me recommended the sausage — I didn’t get any, but it looked fire! She said she stopped regularly, so I guess I’ll have to try the sausage next time. Definitely a Jackson treat — and as far as BBQ ribs goes, some of absolute finest I’ve ever had! ”

“ I've had ribs all over, been to some of the best bbq restaurants in the country. How am I not enjoying any of these top in the nation bbq joints? I realized, it must just be me. I just don't like bbq, I gave up. I kept hearing about Jeffersons ribs, and even the mayor is having a hard time getting his hands on some! Time after time, people were raving about his ribs. I came in today for a stuffed philly, he had a rack left so I grabbed that too. I really didn't have high expectations, because I was always let down. The glazed was glistening, glaring at me from the box. Alright, I see you rib, it's on! Oh my gosh it was like love at first bite! The sticky, sweet glaze was more than amazing! Ribs are often oversauced, or the dry rub is just mediocre. This glaze had a nice balance of sweet and tangy. They were moist and tender, PERFECT, not overwhelming in bbq sauce or taste. I've never once in my life finished even a half rack of ribs, this was easy. These ribs are easily on my top 5 list. I might not be a bbq expert, but I know when I find something that I absolutely love. You were made for me ribs haha I also love his stuffed philly with potato salad. It's a tad over seasoned for me so I always order my stuffed philly with a little less seasoning, no tomato, no lettuce, no mayo, extra bell peppers and onions. It's delicious. Now, Roche Jefferson you better watch out for your family, I have a feeling people are gonna try to marry into your family, so they can figure out what kinda crack you're using in your glazed rub. Food: 5+ Service: 5 Atmosphere: If you stand between the hot peanuts and deli area, you'll find a nice little warm spot that'll keep you cozy, where you can rest your bums while waiting on the food. That's pretty good for a gas station, so 4 for atmosphere ”
